Can Persistent Use Of Low Dose ASA Cause Large Hematomas?
I have been on low dose ASA for many years. Have developed a bleeding problem with very easy large area bruising. With surgery I now develop large hematomas resulting in developing anemia. Is this a complication of long term low dose ASA or something else? Have been evaluated by a hematologist with no negative findings. Thank you.

Yes, low dose aspirin (ASA) can cause bleeding daithesis.
So better to get done PT (prothombin time) and APTT (activated partial thromboplastin time).
If they are higher then normal then, vitamin K injection will stop the bleeding.
Also stop aspirin immediately.
