In case of traumatic peroneal nerve injury like may cause oedema. so surgical decompression or anti-oedema measures like steroids with b complex vitamins may useful.
We don't know how much severe us your nerve damage. In neuroptaxia may recover early. Neurotmesis or axonotmesis may recover depending upon the class of injury.
So take rest, use anti-oedema measures. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
