Can Paraffin Wax Or Formalin Cause Acne?

Hello..I have a acne problem since im transfer to histopathology department..before that I don t have any acne problem..now im suffer from pimples problems on my face and neck also..I want to ask whether paraffin wax or formalin can cause all this problems? Or it might be like allergic?How can I treat this acne? TQ Doctor..

Hi. Does your facial skin come in contact with these agents you have metioned? They cause acne by occlusion of pores. But, i dont suspect this to be true. We have to look for other aggravating factors too. Meanwhile you can use clindamycin cream twice daily and benzoyl peroxide based cleanser. Hope it helps.
