Can Pain In Neck And Shoulder Be Symptoms Of Heart Attack?

Hi Doc, I've been having a pain in my neck and shoulder area. not real painful but noticeable! yesterday I had similar symptoms I experienced last and what followed after a week or so was, I lost muscle tone, strength and consistently experienced "an electricity feeling in my foreman. it was as if I was walking around with a tuning fork in my arm or a constant "funny bone" feeling.... could this be signs of a stroke or heart attack?

Hi,
welcome to HCM
Your symptom majorly is of neck and shoulder pain, which concerns you about it being a pain due to stroke.
The possible conditions that could have such presentations are
spondylitis, cervical disc herniation, simple muscle sprain, neuralgia , stroke.

here, in your case, an information regarding your blood pressure status, lipid profile, physical activities, and other associated symptoms like fever, injury, dizziness, palpitations, breathless ness, etc is needed to zero in on a specific condition.
An investigations like ECG, Complete lipid profile, MRI cervical spine, are indicated and can be discussed with your local physician on consultation.
Therefore, i would advice you to show yourself to a local physician.

welcome for further suggestions.
Regards,
Dr Pankaj Borade
