General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, overdose of Amlodipine can cause increased heart beats, sweating, palpitation, flushing and fainting (low blood pressure). There is nothing to worry. Rest in a quiet & dimly lit room. Raise the head of your bed. Stand up slowly when getting out of your bed or chair. The symptoms would subside in due course of time however, you should consult your doctor if there is no relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
