Can Ovarian Cysts Cause Infertility?

Hi dr...I want to pregnant..4yrs going to complete...I tried follicular study, iui,dnc biopsy allll. That report shows good....,bt Nw problem s I done biopsy March... after d months I didn t Have period...I consulted dr.she gave meparate ..I had period on may ...then I went to dr. That time she s out f station.... after months I didn t HV period.....thn I met to dr.on July 2 ..i expect may b I am pregnant.. bt she told to me ...no ur nt pregnant Nw u have small size of cyst ..that s no problem I vil give tab after u vil HV period thn u stay as usual....bt bt bt still am not having period I taken ovralG ....why am not getting period / pregnant....am so depressed...plz reply

Hello thanks for consulting.
1. ovarian cysts may result in irregular menstural cycles and may be due to hormonal imbalance.
2.Most of ovarian cysts do not cause onfertility.But when the cysts become infected and cause pelvic infection may cause scarring of fallopian tube, which could cause infertility.
3.ovarian cysts with endometriosis may be associated with infertility.
4. some times ovarian cyts may resulting in PCOD[polycystic ovarian disease] which is may cause fertility problems and irregular menstural cycles due to hormonal imbalances.
