Hello, Usually when breast feeding is on, there no ovulation or menstrual period. Hence it works as natural barrier for next conception. So in the early months there is no need for contraceptives. At least in first 8 -9 months. Later contraceptives may be used. Ovulac - Id contains estrogen, which is said to have some effect on reducing milk production, particularly when babies over 1 year are fed and may be dependent on breast milk. Then progestorone only contraceptives are preferred.
However, at 3 months there is no need for any contraceptive and milk production is invariably adequate up to 6 - 8 months. Thanks
