Can One Take Antibiotics For Cough, Congestion And Soreness In The Throat?

I have had a sore throat for 7 days. I have no voice or hoarse voice for 3 days. I have a cough with dark green phlegm for 3 days as well. I have nasal congestion and a runny nose at the same time. I am fatigued and probably dehydrated even though I am drinking fluids to help my throat. I probably should have went to the DR. a couple days ago....so does it pay to go now? Will an antibiotic work?
