Can Olsalazine And Ferrous Gluconate Help Colitis And Constipation?
yes have colitis and suffer with constipation itake olsalazine 250mg 4 tablets a day and suffer at night with itchiness my doctor took blood tests and said i was iron deficient so gave me ferrous gluconate 300mg but iron has always caused me constipation and so the doctor told me to take laxido is that alright.

Yes, iron tablets consumption may cause constipation in a few patients. If you're suffering from constipation means you may take high fibre diet, use syrup lactulose thirty ml after dinner for five days.
You can take Olsalazine for colitis. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
