Can Nettle Leaf Supplement Be Taken For Seasonal Allergies?

My husband suffers from seasonal allergies and he takes the lowest form of lisiopril for high blood pressure. I take a nettle leaf supplement for my seasonal allergies for a few days and then I m fine. Wondering if he could take this instead taking the average Otc meds they put out for allergies.

Hi,

I am sorry for the seasonal allergies your husband is suffering.

There is no sufficient evidence to show the effectiveness of nettle leaf supplement in improving seasonal allergies. If it got good results in your case, then, your husband can use it too hoping good results for him.

However, I do not recommend that he should stop the meds he takes for allergy unless the symptoms are improved.

All the best!
