Can Muscle Gain Stop Weight Loss?

Hello, I have been dieting for about 3 weeks and I've lost 13 pounds. It hasn't happened yet but I was wondering if I would eventually not lose any for about a week due to muscle gain. Is this true and is that how it is supposed to work?

Hello! Don't worry. Muscle gain is the best thing. Muscle help you burn more fat , even resting. Muscle are like a big machine of fat burners. If you weight yourself in a normal scale if you gain muscle and lose fat you can have the same weight. So to see if you have lost fat you better o measure arm, belly and leg perimeter. Also there are specific machines which measure the percentage of fat and muscle mass in every arm, leg and body. This way of measuring is the best ti see if you have lost weight. Fat and muscle weight the same but muscle occupie e smaller space compared to fat.
Best regards.
