Can Menopause Cause Strong Smell And Dark Colored Urine?
Hi I have had urine checks & ultra sounds on my bladder & Kidneys everything seems normal, but I constantly have strong urine & its dark sometimes also stingy sometimes , im 52 & going through Menopause as well could this be a part of my problem , I also have an overactive bladder & a slight prolaps, im also using patches to control the overactive bladder ,thankyou Allie

dear,,the menopause dont cause strong smell or dark urine ,is most common is infection ,you need u/a and urine culture for better diagnose , is important take a lot water and cramberry juice is healthy for urinary antiseptic .Overactive bladder can keep residual urine in your bladder that can cause urinary track infection.also if that urine is very concentrated you can give you this dark color on smell.
