Can Medication For Migraines Cause Any Side Effect?

i am a 19 yr old female, mostly healthy taking medication for migraines. i have recently noticed that whn i exercise my knees, ankles and toes get extremely red and warm to the touch. it also occurs in the shower even when the water is luke warm. Any idea what this could be?
