Can Major Heart Attack Reduce The Spitting Of Blood?
Hi. My son, 32 yrs old, had a heart attack on May 10.2012. Since he has been home he is spitting up blood. He went for his ck up one week after being released from the hosp. and the Dr cut his prescrip asprin from 2 twice a day to one once a day and added the bayer baby asprin. One month after the major heart attack in his LED or LAD should he still be spitting blood?

Bleeding tendencies are increased by use of aspirin like drugs. definitely if he is spitting blood he must be seen by his doctor on priority. Only a thorough examination and examination of prescription can tell the exact cause of blood in sputum but it may be related to use of aspiring like drugs. It is in no way normal to spit blood any time after heart attack.
