Can Long Term Usage Of Rabonik And Lanzoprazole Cause Any Side Effects?

I am a chronic patient of 'Acidity". occasionally I was diagnosed for H Pyllorry and treated for it. For the past several years I have used Rabonik dsr and some time Lanzoprazole every alternate day. What is the side effect of such long term use of these medicines?

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with acidity and that you take both Rabonik and Lanzoprazole. You are concerned about long term effects of these medications. First I have to say both Rabonik and lanzoprazole are from the same class of medications called PPIs. I would recommend not to take them at the same time as that is doubling your dose. Other than that there are no long term effects known with taking PPIs.
