my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 chronic kidney disease in February 2014. Included in her treatment was dialysis for 12 hours, due to her kidneys completely failing, about 6 months after her renal failure, her kidney function increased dramatically. the past 2 days she has been showing signs of her kidneys not functioning properly. My question is: can nervei issues, that affect the legs, be caused by kidney failure, rather chronic kidney disease. she has had an emg and an mri, the only conclusion the nuero center has come to is arthritis on the spine. she says her leg feels like there is a rod in it preventing it from being able to bend and so forth and is in a lot of pain. The dr also said it is going into her other leg. What are the possibilities of her kidneys not working properly be the cause of this issue? She didn t have these types of issues with her legs before her kidney failure. Angie
