General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

A renal cyst that you have do not need any treatment if it is single and not infected.

Single cyst in the kidney at the age of 56 is a normal finding. Get your kidney functions done to rule out any underlying kidney disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
