Can Irregular T Waves Cause Difficulty In D&c Procedure?

I had an ekg with irregular T waves. I have a history of irregular heartbeats, but they are under control by taking Atenolol. I had the ekg because my docotor needs to do a D and C due to heavy period lasting over 24 days If I have the procedure could the irregular T waves cause a problem?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that T wave abnormality can be a problem sometime and if you are going for D&C then there is no big risk but better will be to get an echocardiography before D&C procedure.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
