Can having iron deficiency anaemia cause a thrombosis in the leg? I am 44 year old lady with diabettes,chronic migrane,anxiety and depression? I have an ache in the back of my leg, I think Ive just pulled a muscle but its been there a week. Do I need to be concerned? Im having very painfull periods, more often and iratic. I have had blood taken thats why Im on iron tablets and I have a appointment to have a ultrasound scan.
