General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Antibiotics do not affect the menstrual cycle by itself. However, the stress of illness can cause such a delay in menstruation. You will likely get your period in a few days. If not, do a home pregnancy test if sexually active.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
