Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Around two years ago, I had taken Primolut N tablets for excessive bleeding that lasted for more than a month. The doctor had prescribed me 1 tab (20 days) for four cycles. My periods regularised after that. But I am now experiencing hazy vision in one eye which doctors say can be the start of cataract. Can the intake of Primolut be linked to my cataract as I am just 41 years of age?
I think the primolut you have been using may not cause cataract. You should get tested by an ophthalmologist and also get checked for diabetes. Primolut is not known to give this side effects.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
