There are at least 2 possibilities, both of which are quite common. One is that there is spasm of the esophagus. Stress causes this in many people, so giving a stimulant of stress hormones also can certainly do this. The other is heart disease. Methamphetamine often triggers heart problems and these are often felt as indigestion.
