Hi, I have been having problems with sex for around 5 years. When i have sex for the first time in the day, i feel fine, but afterwards there is a strong burning sensation when i go to the toilet and the skin feels irritated. if i try to have sex the same day it really hurts. i have been washing with aqueous cream, i have used vitamin e oil, i have used eumovate as prescribed by a gynaecologist (none of which have solved the problem) and have now been prescribed lidocaine 5% to put on before i have sex. so i have a few questions about this - how much should i put on? how long before sex? how long do the effects last for? and should i use it at any other times? (i have read on forums that some women use it every night). finally, how long is it safe to use it for?
