Can I Take Crushed Ferrous Fumurate Tablets For Anemia?

Hi !
I am about to take furrous fumarate 322mg pills because of anemia.
My question is : can i crush this tablets as i am scared of swallowing any pills.
I ask my doctor for liquid iron but he said the dose is to small for me.
What should i do ?

I am so sorry to hear of this anemia. Feel free to crush the tablets and drink. They would help to correct the iron deficiency anemia and restore your iron stores. This should be taken for a minimum of 6weeks to make sure the problem has been corrected fully. Remember to drink much water after taking this medication. Vitamin C helps increase absorption. Please, do not be scared if you should observe black stools because it is common in persons taking iron supplements.

Yes you can take aftet crushing this tablet. Normally capsules having coating are to be taken as such otherwise all other tablets can be taken in crushed form.
