Can I Have Tylenol For Painful Swollen Gums?

I had a dental procedure today - two teeth pulled and a temporary bridge made. I m not in a lot of pain, but do have some swollen gums. I cannot remember if I should avoid Advil or Tylenol (due to increased risk of bleeding). Which should I take and which one should I avoid?

Hello dear user of HCM!
Thank you for your question!

None of them put you under the risk of bleeding! You can use each of them if you have pain. They don't affect the blood ability to coagulate. The aspirin is risky so don't use that for this purpose!

Now, regarding to your question, I would suggest you Advil, instead of Tylenol, because Advil has an anti inflammatory effect, and helps you to reduce gum swelling.
You can wash your mouth and gums with normal saline water.

I wish you will be fine soon!
Best regards!
DR ERIOL.
