Can I Go For Swimming After Undergoing Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy?

Hi, iI am 41 yrs old i had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy on May 6th. it's been a few weeks and i feel great. I went for my 1 week check-up and he said things looked great but wanted to see me again in 2 weeks. I just wanted to know if it was ok to go swimming. it's really hot here and my kids are dying to go in.

of course, it's the weekend and my doctor is not in his office...

I let the patients swim 4-6 weeks after the operation. So if the wounds are ok, you can swim.

Off course take it easy. You should not try to beat Michael Phelps' records ;-).

have nice swim
