Can Hypoglycemia Cause Hot & Nauseous During Sleep?

I am a 30 year old male. I fly a lot and sometimes while sleeping on the plane, I wake up feeling extremely hot, then nauseous. I thought that it was something to do with flying until I had the same experience while being out with a group of friends. Can t find much online except maybe hypoglycemia or heart problems.

Yes hypoglycaemia can cause nausea and hot feeling . It's very easy to recognise you must observe at what time you develop these symptoms . Normally body has some mechanism by which it can maintain blood sugar level but if you are not eating any thing for more than 1 or 2 days hypoglycaemia can occur . You can measure yr blood sugar level at the time of symptoms by glucometer if it is less than 70 then this will be the cause..Other wise it's something else.get yr blood pressure checked and get ecg done to look for cardiac causes aswell.hope this will help.
