Can Hyperthyroidism Lead To Weight Gain?
Why don't doctors really know the relationship between hyperthyroidism and weight gain? After years of chronic fatigue, a visibly pronounced butterfly buldge in my neck, and a weight gain of 50 lbs in one year, I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Apparently I have a "hot" nodule...I have read volumes of there is no relationship. Ok, if there is no relationship between my sudden weight gain (I have always been at weight or under weight) and hyperthyroidism....what is really going on with my health?

Dear friend, Greetings from HCM... i appreciate your concern .. but hyperthyroidism will cause WEIGHT LOSS!!! similarly hypothyroidism will cause WEIGHT GAIN.. please read your report carefully and meet your surgeon .. definitely your problems can be resolved soon there are many ways of doing that ...radio ablation /surgery/drugs/ based on the report your surgeon has to decide which is the best !!! please do contact us for more information .. take care thanking you ...
