Hello there,

Normally queries go the other way around where people ask tips to lose weight. Your BMI is 18.2 which is on the lower side. Ideally it should lie between 18.5-24.

If you do not have any eating disorder i.e where you refuse to eat food then having 3 proper meals a day would be ideal . Food rich in protein like eggs, meats or dals, soya can be added to diet. Have heavy dinners as in the night more food tends to get stored as fat.

Secondly, If you are married and planning for a pregnancy then a weight gain of 6-10 kilos is normal during pregnancy and after delivery you would some of that weight.

You should get your blood checked for any hemoglobin or red blood cell changes. And correct that if there is any anomaly.

Gaining weight is not an issue but you should be healthy even with the added weight.
Thank you for your query
