Can Hiatal Hernia Cause Bloating And Belching Along With Left Sided Chest Pain?

I am experiencing frequent bloating & belching together with pain in my left chest. when I press the chest it causes belching - non-stop. I am 83 (female)& in very good health, am not overweight & lead a healthy lifestyle. Could this be caused by a hiatal hernia??? or?

Hello,

Possible causes of bloating and belching may be due to air swallowing or infection or bowel palsy or food intolerance or acid peptic disease etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use tablet pantoprazole.

Avoid gluten and lactose contain food. please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
