Can Hemochromatosis Cause Pain Below Sternum?

I have been diagnosed with hemochromatosis. I have blood drawn on a regular basis and have phebotomies occasionally. During my last visit, I mentioned that I had a pain when pressing slightly below my sternum. They also mentioned that my liver enzymes were slightly high. My doctor sent me for an ultrasound and scheduled for a follow up blood test. What could be causing the pain? Could it be related to my hemochromatosis or could it be gall stones?

You may have gall stones or pancreas may be infected the major sequela for haemochromatosis .but any how no need to worry.you have to take necessary precautions like healthy balanced vegetarian diet and exercise ,avoiding alcohol, smoking completely will be of great help.regarding elevated liver enzymes you have to reduce dietary stress on your liver by reducing fatty food in your diet, along with low salt, low sugar diet are beneficial.
