Can Heavy Metal Poisoning Cause Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Hi could heavy metal poisoning have triggered my sudden overnight Rheumatoid arthritis? I was told i may have been poisoned, then i woke up crippled in pain, coughing, vomitting. A blood test showed a reading of 160 factor for rheumatoid arthritis. Normal levels are under 16 apparently. My doctor cant test me for arsenic poisoning, however he was concerned that i was violently ill before i was diagnosed.

metal poisoning could give arthralgia and pain in joints if chronc poisioning, a slow process. The rheumatoid arthritis can be confirmed by specific serum anti-ccp test. it is an auto-immune sort of disorder. metal poisoning is different.
