Can Head Injuries Cause Stomach Pain And Vomiting?

My 3 1/2 year old grandson fell about 3 feet and busted his head open. Took him to the er and they stapled the wound shut. The er doc said no concussion. about 3 hrs later he said tummy hurts and vomited then went back to sleep. Is this ok or should I advise my daughter to take him back to the er?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, Ideally all the head injury cases needs to be kept under observation for at least 48 hours because anything could happen during this time period so it is most advisable to get done the CT of brain here the given symptoms could be normal one but it can not be taken as granted, hope this information helps.
