My daughter is 17 and was on birth control but taken off due to higher blood pressure. Once off of her pills her menstrual cycle was a little out of whack but not too bad. We just took her the doctor for a check up and her blood pressure was still a little high. The doctor then put her on atenolol. Since she has been on the atenolol she has not had a menstrual cycle. Are there any chances it could be from the medication?
