Hi I just wana know that I had an abortion 2years back n I has got my ultrasound done at that time, there was no cyst seen at dat time and I have gone through laproscopy for removal of gall bladder stone on 15 od september 2013at that time also had got an ultrasound done n everythonf was normal.I was suffering with typhoid on 11 september I had been taking medicines n I had recovered. But from past 2 days I am having having pain below my naval n at that place from where my gall bladder had been removed so I consulted the Doctor so he advised me to for stool test and ultrasound and I have got my ultrasound report stating that there is 33*31 mm complex cyst with septae and internal echoes seen in left ovary: hemorrhagic cyst. I just wana know the cause of this cyst y it has occured its symptoms and its cure and is it dangerous or not and what should I take for my meals do I need to avoid any food stuff. I even want to tell u dat my menstrual cycles are normal and come on rite date and today is 15 april and my date is on 21st of every month.Maybe dis info would be useful for u. I am also having temperature since the day the pain started but is below 100. Also cough and pain in my left hip.stools are semi liquid not normal. I suffer from loose motions regularly.if u require any other info for ur referral kindly do mail me. Thanks Mrs. Dass

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello Mrs Das,
I can understand your concern on your symptoms.
1) You do not need to do anything for cyst based on such small size of cyst.
2) Hemorrhagic cyst may cause episodes of pain but it can be controlled with analgesic medications without need of any surgery.
3) Such small cyst resolve by its own without need of any further intervention.
4) You do not require any specific diet-modification for ovarian cyst.
5) generally, pain would aggravate in such ovarian cyst during the menstruation which mandate to use analgesic medications for few days.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I would be happy to help you.
Have a nice day!
