I just found out that I have blood in my urine. This has been going since May. My doctor did not know it because he did not look at my test results until I made an appointment to come to review them.
I konw I should have followed up with him sooner about the results. I had a doctor's appointment schedule prior to November 1st, but it was cancelled by the doctor's office and the only time I could get back in to see him was November 1st. Anywho, urine was taken on November 1st and again, blood was in the urine. A culture was done this week and it came back negative for an infection. However, the problem still remains that I have blood in my urine.
Question: What other health issues could cause blood in the urine? I have fibroid tumors that causes my abdomen to protrude like a 4 month pregnancy. I will be getting that taken care of soon. But, can the fibroids cause blood to be in my urine? Hopefully, I do not have bladder or uretha cancer. My mother died of urether cancer on August 11, 2010. So, I am getting a little nervous.

What can you tell me about this. Oh, by the way, I do not smoke,drink, or been exposed to pesticides.
