Can Esophagus Problems Cause Throat Dysphagia?

A week ago, I swallowed a rather large pill, and I had the feeling that the pill was stuck in my throat. After about two days, the feeling went out of my throat, but there started to be pain in my upper back and chest, especially when i swallow. However, I also play volleyball, and have been working out my upper body a lot, and that could be a cause of my upper back pain, also. I am worried that there could be something wrong with my esophagus that is related to my back.

Hello

Please meet your doctor as it is likely that the pill may be still stuck in your esophagus , this can cause pain which may also radiate to the back. Please dont take this lightly and avoid self medication as the complications can be dangerous , please meet your doctor soon.

Thanks
