General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If there is focal lesion is the brain or If there is loss of neurotransmitters, memory loss can happen. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. An MRI brain may be needed for further assessment. Conditions like Parkinson’s disease has to be ruled out as it can also cause memory loss.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
