Can Ear Pain And Blockage Be Caused By Ear Wax?

I have an earache.Went to doctor she prescribedNeomycin-Polymyxin-HC Ear soution,Azithomycin 250mg.tabs,and Tramadol HCL 50mg tabs.It has been 4 daysand my ear is totally shut with occasional sharp pain. Could this be caused by earwax and can I syringe my ear for relief?

Hello!
it is unlikely that the pain is due to wax and i dont think you should syringe your ear. meet your en doctor again. maybe you will need a change in your medications!
