Can Diverticulitis Be Found During A Colonoscopy?

I had my first colonoscopy at age 48 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to have one for clearance of the treatment I was having. Since that time I have had a colonoscopy every 7 years. with no polys. Would the diverticulitis have shown up?

Yes if diverticulitis is there that surely shown up by colonoscopy and that colonoscopy is for screening purpose and early detection of colon carcinoma which rate increases with age.
