Hi,

Exercise has got quite a role in ebry disease especially diseases of the cardiovascular system and diastolic dysfunction is no exception. So yes it has benefits and improves function.

We recommend about 150 minutes excercise in a week. However, this is not an alternative to medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
