Can Degenerative Disk Disease Cause Swelling And Pain In The Hands?
I have been having swelling and pain in my hands. recently also in my elbows. I have been checked for lupus and RA. Both of these tests came back negative. I had an xray on my neck and it showed severe degenerative disk disease. MRI showed the same with some narrowing at the 5 and 6 and damage on the 7th. Would this cause my hand problems? I also have a trigger finger (thumb) and this happened as suddenly as the pain and swelling happened in my hands. Just seems strange that it all happened suddenly and at the same time.
