Can Constipation Cause Headaches?
My child complains of headaches ( age 10) and he has had his blood work checked and all is fine. He has always had a problem with constipation at an early age. We give him mirlax and he is still constipated and has mild headaches. Do you think the constipation is causing the mild headaches?

When headaches and constipation occur at the same time it may be nothing to worry about.This problem may occur .
You may simply need to give him more fiber and water or find ways to better cope with stress (his school problem as example) and increase exercise level.
If headaches and constipation happen at the same time on a regular basis, he may have an underlying chronic condition(if yes, consult your physician)
