Can Constant Sweating Due To Menopause Be Treated Using HRT?

Hi Dr.Rynne.....I am post menopausal due to a total hysterectomy 8 weeks ago...... My question is this:I cannot stop sweating. It s way more than a hot flash..... It s all day long...24/7. I m not doing HRT, but feel that I might be able to safely, since both my bilateral mastectomy and hysterectomy were prophylactic due to a BRCA2 mutation.... Any ideas??

Hello ,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.com and thanks for sharing your concern with us.
Definitely such sweating spells after hysterectomy can be due to hormonal imbalance and HRT can improve the condition . I would suggest you to consult with your Gynecologist and get the HRT in form of pills , patches , implants or injections .HRT takes around 7 to 10 days before showing its effect.
I wish you good health.
Best Regards
