Can Compressed Nerves Cause Soreness In Fore Arms And Elbows?

I have fusion, laminioplasty in my neck.(klippel feil syndrome) and now have severely compressed nerves bilaterally at c4-5 and 5-6. past month I have extremely sore forearms and seem to be flexing my fists, forearms at night. my elbow joints are very sore too. can this be caused by those severely compressed nerves by chance?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, all your symptoms can be caused by compression of cervical nerves at,C4, C5 and C5-6 levels as area of elbows, forearms and wrist as well as of hands are supplied by the roots of these nerves as well as by adjoining C3-4 and C6-7 nerve roots.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
