Can Colour Make Any Difference For Active And In Active Ingredients?

Hello. I have recently been prescribed 2mg alprazolan. I was wondering if the color made a difference as far as active and inactive ingredients. Does it affect the strength of the medication? I have read many comments and many people have different answers. I do not have enough money to pay for an answer. Is there someone that I can chat/speak with in regards to this. I make little money working at a daycare.

No. Color of the pill does not interact iwth the ingredients HOWEVER, any pill is put together. depending on many factors how tightly they are put together and how fast they come apart VARIES. Time til the medicine starts and stops WILL be affected by this and there is no way to control for it. Different batches will be different on stopping and starting but the overall amount and effect will be the same. Some people are allergic to dyes. Probably more than are allergic to alprazolam the drug or to the starch the packs it.
