Can Cold And Snow Cause Fever In Toddlers?

Hi I have a question in regards to getting sick from snow. I've always believed that it was a myth to get sick from the cold... but last night it snowed and I took my two toddlers outside to play in it since they have never seen it before. But this morning my daughter woke up with a fever and I can tell she doesn't feel well. What could be the cause of this? Thank you!

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.
Sir, usually cold atmosphere encourages many of the infectious agents. So when when we move in cold weather, there is every chance of getting infection.
Some times cold atmosphere acts as an allergen and give rise to cold.
So try to avoid that.
Hope this clarifies your query. Thank you sir
