Can Coffee Make You Blank Out For A While?

I ate a very small dish of cereal took my meds and drove for an hour and 15 min. stopped for a 16 oz. cup of coffee and oz. left in cup stopped hour later and filled with gas and cant remember that. Can coffee make you blank out for a while? I take lodipine 10mg,nexium 40 mg over the counter allergy pill 10mg.

Dear- thanks for using our service, I read your question in detail and will tell you that coffee does not produce memory black out. You might had a temporary memory impairement which can happen due to stress or just without any specific reason. Other possibility is a transient ischemic attack which is an acute block of circulation that won't produce a deficit but can give a temporary black out. I suggest you to have a complete checkup including a carotid ultrasound and electrocardiogram.
