Hi,

TB meningitis needs prolonged treatment, lasting for 12-18 months. So, it could be natural effect of infection. However, if in doubt, get a brain scan done to rule out hydrocephalus.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist
