Can Chlamydia Infection Be Transmitted Through Anal Sex?

Hi i recently got urine tested for gonnereah and clamydia. Both came back negative but I believe they may be false because I participate in receptive anal sex but never received an anal swab. Would urine test for clamydia in other body areas? Or just genital?

Hi! I have gone through your question and i understand you concern.

I would say that having anal sex ,when you are the receptive , its a risk to have clamydia infectiom in anal part .And in that case you should do a swab in rectal area, to check .
The clamydia may show in urine or genital area when you have it in anus ,if it is spread there otherwise not.

And the other way , you can have rectal Clamydia infection from the urine or genital tract that are primary infected.
If you have these symptoms ;Rectal pain , discharge or bleeding , you should check for clamydia.

Hope these answer your question.
Take care .
